Orchard

We planted our Orchard in 2012, and it was the start of our production, with the goal to in the future make apple juice and distill our own apple brandy, just like they do in Calvados, France.

We grow 8 varieties of apples, which all contribute with their distinctive character and aromas for our products, which were chosen by consulting “Bolsgård” and “Äppelriket” in Österlen. In order, to create a great tasting apple product, we use varieties that contribute bitterness, Sweetness and Acidity.

We do not use any chemicals to remove weeds, instead we remove it all by hand.

The worst enemy of apples trees is spring frost, but being so close to the sea, we have a milder climate which makes it a very rare occurrence.
